wait… my heart is doing WHAT?

I love this piece of science about the heart:

According to the HeartMath Institute…

“Every cell in our bodies is bathed in an internal and external environment of fluctuating, invisible magnetic forces…”

And here’s the kicker—

“The heart is the most powerful organ… it produces the largest rhythmic electromagnetic field of any of the body’s organs—60x greater in amplitude than the electrical activity generated by the brain.”

Sixty.

Not a typo.

When I really let that land...

My heart isn’t just feeling something.
She's sending signals.
Constantly.📡

Which means: my heart is the electromagnetic leader—and my experience organizes around her vibe.

That flipped the script for me.

Because I've been “encouraged” to rely solely on the rational mind… and treat my heart as if she’s causing a scene in public. 🙄

But this?

This says my heart isn’t less intelligent…
she's more influential.

So I'm not asking, Why am I so emotional right now? anymore.

I ask myself:

💗 What is my heart trying to communicate that I’ve been too quick to override?

That question alone has changed how I listen.

And your heart?

She’s not quietly minding her business either. (or he’s not—got you, guys 😉)

She’s leading the whole conversation—before you ever say a word.

Might be worth hearing her out.

Have you ever caught yourself saying… “I don’t have a choice.” There’s a specific kind of exhaustion baked into that sentence. Like life slid a contract across the table, signed your name, and now you’re stuck carrying out the terms and conditions nobody bothered to explain. Cue the internal toddler tantrum.😡 I hear it hiding inside the I have to’s of life all the time: “I have to keep the peace at family dinners.” “I have to stay in this job because I need the income.” “I have to take care...

I had the weirdest Discovery Call of my career this week. And considering I’ve spent nearly two decades helping humans unpack things like stress rashes before family gatherings, friendship breakups over sage green bridesmaid dresses, and one-letter text messages from emotionally unavailable men… this one made the highlight reel.😄 A woman booked one of my free 25-minute Discovery Calls after being referred by a longtime client. (Yes, the kind where we hop on Zoom, meet face-to-face, talk...

She appeared on Zoom clutching a mug of coffee like it was the only stable thing in the room. But her eyes? Exhausted. Like her nervous system had been pulling double shifts for years. “Every day when he walks in the door,” she said, “I brace a little… because I don’t know how the conversation is going to turn.” You can picture it. 👀 The click of the front door.Keys on the counter. She pauses mid-step into the kitchen, listening for how the cabinets close. Soft means safe. Loud means… proceed...
